AFTER taking an unexpected 18-month hiatus from his blossoming boxing career to perform daddy duties, 26-year-old Olympian Paul Fleming is preparing to step back into the ring.
The undefeated super featherweight will return to a training camp in Sydney this week to prepare to fight an unconfirmed opponent in Western Australian on November 21.
“It’s the first step in getting back into the swing of things and working my way up again,” said the 18-0 southpaw who has not fought since April last year.
“The drive has been there.
“I’ve just been busy because I’ve had to help (fiancee Bianca Garozzo) with the kids.”
