Billy ‘The Kid’ Dib had to dig deep on Friday night at the Orion Function Centre in Campsie, but the IBF Featherweight champion rallied home late to earn a decision over tough Mexican, Juan Antonio Rodriguez.
Dib wasn’t himself in the early stages, falling behind on the scorecards after Rodriguez opened with a flurry. Dib’s eyes were marked up early as Rodriguez landed from the inside, putting Dib under pressure.
